Here to help.

  • I offer 1:1 therapy for teen and adult men. Sessions can be booked in for 60 minute or 90 minute blocks.

  • I specialize in providing therapy services for adult and adolescent men, typically ages 12 and older.

I work with a diverse group of clients who come to therapy with a wide range of concerns —stress, burnout, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, life transitions, questions of meaning or direction, and patterns that feel difficult to shift. While people often arrive with specific problems in mind, such as anxiety, depression or ADHD-related issues, the focus of our work is less on diagnosis or labels and more on helping you understand yourself more clearly and move toward the life you want to be living.

My approach is grounded in building awareness, developing practical ways of relating to thoughts and emotions, and supporting meaningful change over time. Therapy is collaborative and centered on your lived experience, not on fitting you into a predefined category.

That said, there are some concerns that require specialized training or a higher level of care than I provide. In these cases, I will support you in finding an appropriate referral. This includes work with:

    • Personality disorders

    • Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)

    • Schizophrenia or other primary psychotic disorders

    • Acute crises, such as a recent suicide attempt

    • Court-ordered therapy, including treatment related to domestic violence charges

If you’re unsure whether this is the right fit, I’m happy to discuss your situation and help you determine your next step—even if that means connecting you with another provider.

  • Typical 1:1 therapy sessions are about 53-55 minutes long. How long you stay in therapy, whether weeks, months, or years, is entirely your choice and varies based on your needs.

  • I offer flexible appointment times both in person and virtually so that your sessions will work with your schedule. Typically, clients book sessions every week to build our connection and momentum. Every other week options are also available.

  • The first few sessions are about us getting to know each other. We will cover your history so I can better understand your story and together we will make a roadmap for our work together based on your unique needs, strengths, and circumstances.

  • It depends! Every client has their own unique needs, preferences, and sessions with me. As a ritual, you can expect to start every session with a mindfulness exercise - whether that’s breath work, guided meditations, visualizations, or gentle movement - the goal is to start by grounding ourselves in the present moment.

After our practice, we dive into what is most important for you! We will discuss the contexts and events of your life and start to peel back the layers of thoughts and behaviors that are keeping you stuck, while also exploring the values, strengths, and resources that can propel you forward to a meaningful life!

Occasionally, I may recommend exercises, readings, and additional material for you to explore outside of our sessions to build on our work.

    • How reimbursement works (if you want to use your benefits)

      • We can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement varies by plan and may depend on your deductible and out-of-network coverage.

    • HSA/FSA

      • Many clients also use HSA/FSA funds for therapy, depending on their plan rules.

  • If you need to miss an appointment, we require at least 24 hours of notice of cancellation. If for any reason you do not provide 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged a $150 fee for your appointment. Payment is due at the time of your session.

  • By law, clients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much their medical care will cost.

You can receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item.

You can also ask your healthcare provider and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
